If you look at the course of sales before the auction you will find that most were above 11c, at 11.5c or 11.25c. That final 1 share 11c sale would have been a superfast computer coming in at the last microsecond of the auction to ensure the closing price was kept down to 11c.
It is certainly annoying to retail holders but not all bad, it usually means buyers are there and trying to get IMU at lower prices when we open tomorrow. Australia really has no effective authority policing share price manipulation and, IMO, that is unlikely to change any time soon.
