I often like to look at things from left field.
The following are my own musings and are not based on any facts or information available.
I would preface this by saying that I am agnostic and do not follow any particular religion, additionally I would add, I have great respect for people who have their faith to guide them.
The current onCARlytics trial is looking to be cutting edge technology and if successful data comes from the current trial it will be as Leslie Chong has stated a paradigm shift in cancer treatment.
The name of this trial is OASIS, which of itself may not mean anything to most investors however a little delving into the meaning of OASIS does appear IMO to have greater meaning to this trial.
I asked the question of Imugene if the name of the trial has further meaning and received this reply;

Now, while I of course take this on face value there may also be more to this name as the Biblical meaning could be viewed as having a link to this naming of the trial.
Psalm 107:35-36 says, "But he also can turn a barren wilderness into an oasis with water! He can make springs flow into desert lands.
Another focus of Leslie’s, Dr Dupont’s and the team at Imugene is reference to patients as being their North Star and while there is not specific reference to this from a biblical sense as you can see by the reference below there may be another religious connection.
In conclusion, the North Star in the Bible can be seen as a symbol of divine guidance, faithfulness, and prophecy.
It’s a beacon in the night sky, guiding the faithful on their spiritual journey, just as it shows travelers on their earthly journeys.
Whether you’re exploring the heavens through a telescope or the pages of the Bible, the North Star serves as a reminder of the divine guidance always available to those seeking it.It symbolizes direction, guidance, stability and purpose due to its fixed position relative to other stars; it always remains at almost exactly the same point in relation to all other stars no matter how much they appear to move around.
Rounding out my thoughts of religious connections at Imugene was what Leslie said in the non-deal roadshow with Yuman Fong and Dr Dupont, following Yuman’s talk Leslie said, “ Oh my gosh, I think it was Elton John that said, I thank Lord for the people I have found”.
Now I know of course that anyone can pick out random facts and events to come to a theory of any kind, I just feel there is something in this train of thought that is interesting.
