The delay might be due to the interval between the observation of data and the peer review process that is demanded by a reputable journal before it publishes it. Manuscript to publication often takes many months in many scientific fields. You might ask how such market sensitive information can stay secret. Indeed I recall another company I follow had announced the date for important trial results. At the roadshow meeting one investor asked how the results could possibly be prevented from leaking. We were told the data would be split up and analysed by separate persons without knowledge of the other data. Also there is a need for robust statistical testing before inferences can be made. So….hmmmm….we all know where there’s smoke there’s fire. IMO the PR machine for Imugene is in overdrive right now, and people can judge for themselves from observations of behaviours and statements that something meaningful will be announced soon.
