As far as I am aware, you cannot see "thread view" if you are not registered. This is the reason I initially made my account, so that I could follow specific threads rather than seeing a conglomerate of posts arranged by time stamp. It was quite some time after account creation that I decided to contribute to the forum. This was my personal experience, perhaps many others are in a similar circumstance.
