Reading your statement above, I can't find any 'guarantee' by Dr. Nick Ede that these AACR conferences will get updates. They are targets only. Surely again, it is one's own expectation/interpretation that has led to the disappointment here. Dr. Nick is not to know that targets means a guarantee to the reader/listeners, right? And I believe he mentioned AACR or whatever as an example of what a major conference is as far as IMU is concerned, and not just any conferences.
Anyway, this is just my one cent worth
