It is a fact that wars have always had very short term effects on the stock market (Ukraine for instance) what does effect the markets is ultimately company profits, if the Iran equation deteriorates markedly oil will spike, inflation will worsen and interest rates cuts will be left further down the line. This will effect company projections and profits.
Nobody can predict what way this is going to play out short term, thus the nervousness atm imo.
