If you weren’t following the market on a daily basis, this last few weeks of crash and burn and then rising from the ashes, it would not mean a thing to the long term outlook for Imugene.
Many investors although long term in their strategy watch the day to day events, or non events as they generally hope for that surprise trading halt or to see a large investor or big pharma take a stake in IMU.
This, of course can play with your emotions, while those who sit back and check in every few weeks or even months avoid the everyday turmoil that goes on for some.
Watching Leslie in the last few interviews I feel she has lost a bit of spark, this could be due to ongoing covid-19 symptoms, or she could be a bit flat after the decision to hand over manufacturing to Kinsell Bio.
Or she may have taken on board feedback from some investors that her little snippets of possibility’s and maybe’s were wearing thin and it was time to under promise and over deliver.
All of this is speculation of course and it may be that there is just nothing at the moment to be getting over-excited about, until of course there is.
The Cholangiocarcinoma extended trial may be the next inflection point, with patients likely to enrol quite quickly over the coming months, and with selective patient requirements to ensure the best results our patents in Asia should attract some interest.
The OnCARlytics trial is what I am most excited about with the potential for turning cold tumours hot there will be enormous interest in this trial from big pharma, particularly from Amgen in the combination arm of the study.
The Fast to market strategy is coming together and 2025-26 is being pitched as the likely trigger point for these results.
So again we talk of patience and maintaining positive vibes as we kick the can along this bumpy road, at least we have funds now to safely get us close to that pivotal point in trial results

Yes agree HB the Oncarlytics will be amazing to see results. I was looking back at a Poster Presentation from 2023 when they announced a combination trial with Artemis T cells from Eureka at the ASGCT the results were outstanding and one can tell they were all very excited because they are all listed on the preso, City of Hope and IMU folk even Leslie, Fong, Park, Priceman, Monil Shah and more. But here we are 12 months later and no more Eureka we have Azser cell, an Allogenic Car T, think they knew something? If one looks at that preso and in particular Fig 2 B and all the little mice lined up and cancer free after day seven with Atemis T cells compared to others, it is going to be crazy if we replicate that in Human trials?

Who knows where it will end up so yes exciting times ahead for sure.
