Prof Yuman Fong did mention that T-Vec (Herpes simplex virus) is the only Oncolytic virus approved in last 26 years, for use in treating melanoma skin cancer by direct injection.
Yuman chose to use the Vaccinia (Smallpox virus), he engineered 100 novel Chimeric viruses and selected and patented CF33 as a Hope Oncolytic Virus (HOV). He mentioned CF33 was found to be safe in animals, highly potent and screened to kill all cancers,
CF33 showed compelling killing of many tumor types at low doses, i.e. Pancreatic,Colorectal, Colon, and Lung.

• Encouraging VAXINIA efficacy, including a complete response (CR) and two partial
responses (PRs), has warranted cohort expansions in biliary tract cancer and other
tumour types.
I mentioned in my previous post,preliminary data results expected 2H 2024.
