European markets were up strongly overnight.
The FTSE rose 100 points (1.22%), the DAX rose 254 points (1.40%) and the CAC rose 79 points (.99%).
US markets were subdued.
The DOW rose 31 points (.082%), the NBI rose 9 points (.21%), the NASDAQ Composite fell 16 points (.10%) and the Russell small cap index rose 3 points (.19%).
US company earnings are sustaining the US markets despite high interest rates and the US Fed comments that interest rates would remain high for "an extended period" and would not rule out interest rate rises.
US Treasury 10 year bond yield is at 4.54%.
Oil prices marginally down - Brent crude at US$83.02 per barrel.
Gold price also down a bit to US$2,315 per oz.
BITCOIN price also slipped to US$62,983.
