I have been thinking a bit more about my response to Outlander's post. I am in the fortunate position whereby chemo etc keeps my cancer under control whereas the poor souls in the MAST study apparently have no solution to their cancers. Very sad and complicated.
As an aside, I believe once you have had a serious cancer you are never completely cured. I recently had a precancerous growth removed from my throat and am seeing an eye surgeon about a possible cancer there.Also SCC's on my hands are a reminder of how watchful one must be. Complete Response (CR) is obviously a more appropriate term than CURE.
