Yep. I thought Nick Ede seemed pretty excited in that presentation (over a month ago) filling in for Leslie Chong when she was ill. And I’ve noticed LC has been emphasising onCARlytics a lot lately.
Back to Nick. He mentioned that IF the CD19 targeting bispecific antibody blinatumomab (Blincyto) in combo with the onCARlytic virus worked better than Blincyto alone (in blood cancers) then Amgen who makes Blincyto would naturally be very interested. In his words it would be a “win-win for both Amgen and Imugene”.
By the way Amgen’s MC is $US 164 billion.
Let’s wait to find out if all the enthusiasm about onCARlytics is warranted. I personally wouldn’t bet against it! But that’s the punter in me so DYOR.
