Trouble is if they now make a statement to the market for calm without any news they would be acknowledging their is a problem and would likely face more selling pressure. Now in a catch 22, whereas if they released their future plans, commercialisation etc a while back many investors would have seen a way forward.
Science may be debated whether its working or not but management have been very poor brought on by their own fault
