European markets were all up overnight.
The FTSE rose 49 points (.60%), the DAX rose 63 points (.35%) and the CAC rose 57 points (.76%).
The US markets were mixed but largely subdued.
The DOW rose 586 points (.15%), the NBI fell 41 points (.93%), the NASDAQ Composite rose 5 points (.029%) and the Russell small cap index rose 3 points (.16%).
The decline in the NBI has been sustained which is a worry.
The RBA held interest rates but hinted that a future rate hike was possible if sticky inflation persists.
the US treasury 10 year bond yield dropped to 4.215%
The oil price continues to rise - Brent crude is at US$85.30 per barrel.
Gold also rose to US$2,330 per oz.
The BITCOIN price has dipped to US$64,455.
