I'd say not, but that doesn't mean he was risk averse, as per his statement. Buying in when the SP is on a downward trend and your current holdings are in the red, takes guts. It's not for everyone, but if you believe in the stock and there's a turn around, you stand to markedly compound the value of your investment. Or for those who want to get out of a risky stock, it is an opportunity to regain your losses.There is always risk though, and some might say don't throw good money in after bad. But if your comfortable with the risk and believe IMU is undervalued, the current SP presents a great opportunity to accumulate. My understanding is that Buffett's strategy was to invest in good quality companies which the market undervalued. I'm of the personal view that this can be applied to IMU's current circumstances, despite Buffetts personal dislike for speculative stock. My opinion only DYOR.
