Elections - no matter where they are - cause uncertainty. You can se the French election doing that.
US election is doing the same. The debate was not good for Biden but neither choice over there is that popular.
I suspect that we will see US markets being somewhat fragile until the end of the year. Biden coud do much better in the second debate but, in the eemd, the stock market is its own sort of beast annd debates and other events don't tend to have a long life.
