European markets were all up overnight.
The FTSE rose 45 points (.56%), the DAX rose 73 points (.411%) and the CAC rose 57 points (.79%).
UK Annual services price inflation fell to 5.2% in July - down from5.7% in June (BoE predicted 5.6%.
UK inflation rose to 2.2% in July. UK inflation has fallen from a high of 11.1% in October 2022.
US markets were mixed.
The DOW rose 242 points (.61%), the NBI fell 22 points (.48%), the NASDAQ Composite rose 4 points (.029%) and the Russell small cap index fell 10 points (.52%).
US CPI data showed that inflation fell to 2.9% in July - down from 3% in June. Core inflation was at 3.2%.
US Treasury 10 year bond yield is down to 3.84%.
Oil prices are down - Brent crude is at US$79.88 per barrel.
Gold price is at US$2,447 per oz.
BITCOIN is down to US$59,008.
