Germany's PPI came in line with expectations in July.

EU inflation came in at 2.6% in July - up from 2.5% and above expectations of 2.4%.

In the US, the DOW fell 61 points (.15%). the NBI fell 5 points (.11%), the NASDAQ Composite fell 59 points (.33%) and the Russell small cap index fell 25 points (1.17%).

US Treasury 10 year bond yield is at 3.815%.

Oil prices down fractionally - Brent crude at US$77.17 per barrel.

Gold price up a little to US$2,516 per oz.
