Smart post Smart Spider. And let’s not forget at what level many short positions were opened. There ain’t going to be any burning.
And as Footy has already pointed out, the week IMU makes a spike is the same week that short positions grow to 5% again!. IMO, very little of that 5% is of true short nature but mostly hedges.
You never know (well we will know next Wednesday) but one of the big hedges might be swapping out causing the boost in volume these last two days.
Anyway, I wouldn’t be focused on the shorts, just pray that this trend continues.
