auditors are making sure investments fall withing the investment strategy, not that you cant have shares... ASX listed shares are not restricted at all otherwise... and it doesn't matter if dividend producing or not...
auditors are definitely getting stricter though, as ato has really been ramping up their reviews of these auditors and forcing upon them more stringent aderence to quality.
