I think you have a point - though the markets are down from a huge run up. So, maybe a false perception that the markets are retreating.
I suspect there is some up ticking to come over the next couple of months.
Whether that can be sustained is another question.
The previous uptrend was driven by the AI mania which has subsided, and I think the latest moves up have been more broad based.
The big draw back may be the financial sector - if interest rates are lowered a few times.
