If you're working on 5 or 6 IP and progress is better on 3 or 4 down the track, it makes perfect sense to
de prioritise the 1, 2 or 3 that are not as good and concentrate on the ones that are doing better.
Also makes sense to multiple at a time for that very reason. There is someone here, forget whom, who always harped on about IMU doing multiple IP's and should concentrate on one at a time, which quite frankly is stupid due to the time frames involved.
2, 3 or 5 years in before results show poor results and you move on to the next one... Results could be good initially so you continue.. Years in, hit a wall and stop.. Wasted time.
