To my own surprise, i finally see what you are saying regarding the market getting it wrong.

1. As part of the 'market', i personally have bought some at much higher price, and it has now been proven that part of the market (me) got it wrong, at that time.

2. The 'market' also is made up of all the shareholders of the billions of imu shares issued as a result of management's various decisions over the years. As since the 'market' gets it wrong, some of these numerous shareholders would probably make their market mistakes and end up selling too low and might end up bringing the price down.

I guess in the end, as someone pointed out many moons ago that the big price makers could cause temporary price movements by moving large parcels of shares, and most probably at times of positive results.
However, any positive results that dont bring in a deal that generates revenue would only mean any positive price movements would most probably be temporary.
It is up to individuals whether they 'make sure' of such moments.
But then, if they are out at the same time a deal is done, tough luck.
In the meantime, we are all getting older and having less and less days to enjoy our big win if it eventuates.
