Firstly, HER-Vaxx is not effective at treating cancer, which is highlighted repeatedly in the recent P2 publication for those who can interpret science. Investors should be up in arms at the misinformation they received regarding the efficacy of HER-Vaxx. If people had been given the complete dataset, then they could have made a more informed decision. For example, IMU management could have disclosed that they botched the randomisation of patients so more older women ended up in the HER-Vaxx arm, which have been proven to have better prognosis than men.
Secondly, there is no value in the drug. It has never been used in a US patient, let alone completed a trial in the US. So, to access the largest pharma market would require repeating a P2 successfully, then running a P3. The patent expires in 2030, which means it is worthless. No company in their right mind is going buy and spend over $100M running clinical trials for a product that is going to be a generic before they finish a P3 trial.
