I've been mulling over the teams San Diego trip.
It feels excessive and overly indulgent to do if the company was truly in the doldrums.
I can understand Leslie spending money to create outcomes but flying other team members across for an in-person meeting makes little to no sense to me if they had concerns over funding.
So they're either incredibly short-sighted or they feel quite comfortable with their position and of course the very public optics of continued spending.
No answers clearly but the lack of purse string tightening would indicate things are indeed ok, one way or another.
