A little scrap with prostate cancer and a complete cure helped with my decision.
Now lesson 2, prostate cancer get more than 1 opinion, I did, (against the advise of all and sundry) it went from, radioactive seeds cost $22000, to total removal, $29000, and all the nasty after affects that goes with both, I did not want to wear a nappy.
Then I went to an honest cancer specialist in a ( public hospital,) who told me I did not need either of the above,
He told me of a complete cure, that would take a bit of my time, called Targeted Radiation. 36 shots of low level radiation. Cost $18.00. That was 14 yrs ago, PSA still 0.50.
It is my advise for the day, take it or leave it, blokes do get prostate cancer, and sadly can cut short your life. I am now 80. And I hope still with it. I like the 10% up. So get regular check ups.
