Hey mrdingo, For mine management doesn't know what's expected of them, whilst investors don't realise how much time and expense is involved in bio research.
PH simply rolls out a public company using the ASX. In setting it up, he hires the best scientists and secures the best potential products associated with them. He couldn't give a tinkers tusk about the 27,000 investors who have supported him via the ASX. He simply calls on the institutions, once airborne and floated, in supporting all future capital needs. Hell, don't even go to the AGM, if you don't feel like it- they don't show up in enough numbers to do anything about anything anyway !
Meanwhile, the scientists who have become CEO's and head clinics such as the City of Hope, have little understanding of why investors are jumping up and down, whilst being in the early stages of clinical studies. They are committed to the cure of cancer, and developing all products secured by the company in finding success. However, whilst attending AGMs and taking up residence in Australia- Leslie would need to be living under a rock, in not knowing how disgruntled investors are. So she tries to rejuvenate confidence, in talking up all of the positive results she's witnessing. The studies being conducted, are progressing the same as all other's done by her (time wise) over many decades. She has given timelines, which are often put back due to take-up's of patients and selective screening of those patients, as unless their almost perished, they're not allowed on these studies ( having needed to have failed at least two other cancer treatments).
Well lets hope all of this big misunderstanding, comes to a head - Pronto. PH knows the score, but has never done anything in explaining or rectifying it. Regardless, before mid year capital will become crucial. In restoring investor interest or creating deals, any great results will need revealing. Bring it on - sooner rather than later !
