US jobless claims rose to 223k - markets expected 220k.
Inflation concerns exist, and markets have lifted inflation predictions for 2025 from 2.8% to 3.3%.
Trump is now softening his stance on tariffs - suspect that he is now getting financial advice that they could further increase inflation in the US.
The US Treasury 10 year bond yield is at 4.626%
Oil prices bumped up - Brent crude is sitting at US$78.43 per barrel.
Gold price also rose to US$2,771 per oz.
