The very reputable British economic historian, Niall Ferguson has been writing about the exploding US Government debt for some 15 years now, and detailing the hypothesis that when a sovereign government's net interest payments exceed its military/defence expenditure, its structural decline is guaranteed. Sometimes, that decline is rapid, and violent!

It would be helpful if Canada would contemplate the impact of the fentanyl trade on the American citizenry; fentanyl is the no 1 cause of death for America's youth (100,000 kids annually)!! If they decided to cease partnering with Mexico and China in this drug trade, they would improve their case. If they were to either relax, or do away with tariffs on US products, they could really go places! DT likes to reward self starters, not bludgers! He certainly will not do the Albanese Government any failures. If we are fortunate enough to restore some sanity in Oz and change the government, Peter Dutton will need to be explaining to DT how we Australia is going to move to over 3% of GDP spend on defence (at a gallop) if we expect him to give us the time of day. He is not very interested in entitled, trust fund baby countries who piss their public assets up against the wall, and leave their children and grandchildren with stupendous amounts of debt!
