I think we are going to see months of volatility on share markets over the next few months.
The trade wars are quickly becoming quite silly.
Trump announced he wants to put a 250% tariff on Canadian dairy products and lumber. US builders had a collective cow. The US gets 30% of its lumber for house building. Builders commented that even 25% would add $10,000 to the cost of a house.
Dairy products will basically be priced out of the US market. He added that the tariffs could come in as early as today.
Maybe Canada has a point that the US is really trying to annex them.
In any case, IMU now needs to nail down some commercial deal or it may be caught up in a market downturn.
