The talk is inflation will rise with the developing trade war. Tariffs are also going to change the competitive landscape for many products including pharmaceuticals. Talk of a USA, Europe trading zone. Seems to me Australia could esily be include in this bloc considering our ties with The US and Europe. One thing not on the horizon seems to be a reduction in cancer rates. And currently around half the people developing many cancers die from it. This suprises me because people can do a lot to reduce there risk of developing cancer and its severity. It seems to me this is positive for the investment in stocks that might produce ground breaking new treatments for cancer. The developed western countries are the most valuable for most drugs. China, India and other asian countries have big biotech and pharmaceutical industries, who knows if they wont discover block buster treatments for cancer.

So in my opinion if IMU and other companies based in the US and Australia have the goods to combat cancer the risk of competition is being reduced. Start ups arent going to find raising capital easy with the market as it is, hard enough for the established players.

So the future of IMU is dependant on the data and what people in the pharma industry see as potential for there IP. It is still early days, that is why no one has made a move yet. But no doubt important people are watching and thinking. Possibly this collapse in confidence will have positive consequences in the future. Who knows if IMU management arent doing the right thing in accumulating data before publicly announcing it. We arent winning currently on points, lets hope for a knock out.
