Hi @ Tenacity & Patience,While it saddens me to hear where you have come to with your intention to sell in the near future, and believe me when I say I feel your pain as many other shareholders are voicing, however I do not share your lack of hope.
I could be very wrong but my thoughts are that Imugene have a strength about them that many other non-income biotechs have. Their IP is extraordinary and with long patents in several jurisdictions and their current nett value without an approved drug would certainly IMO be worth many multiples of the present shareprice.
I do believe that Leslie and senior management are genuinely shocked at the current shareprice, and when you make comparisons with some other biotech companies who are not even in Phase1 trials and do not have the experienced management that we have acquired and yet they have a shareprice many multiples of Imugene, disbelief is a word that comes to mind.
I agree that some careless statements have been made, particularly by Leslie, however thinking back to when I first purchased my holding there have been many a wild, some would say exuberant statements made by shareholders of the company as well.
Now that things have not come to pass as many of us envisaged the stench of reality has suddenly drifted in. It was always the case that biotech is a big risk, Paul Hopper expressed this himself when telling us of the real success rate of small Australian biotechnology companies.
However he also reminded us that many senior management have huge investments in Imugene and have as much to lose as many shareholders, yet they have committed and continue to commit to this cause, because they believe in what they are doing.
I am sure that you would be far more experienced in share trading than I am and I have always respected your down to earth contributions to this forum, and like you I would love to see this turn around, if not to lessen your loss, at least to reinvigorate your enthusiasm for this downtrodden company.
We have sadly lost many great contributors on here most likely due to the vacuum of news we have endured for near on 12 months, however there must be much more happening in the background as news of Imugene’s successes in the clinic spread to investors and large Pharmaceuticals of all kinds.
Good luck T & P in whatever you decide to do, your contributions have always been very much appreciated.DYOR opinion only
