Hi Digger - in my experience companies enter into CA’s before they start serious negotiations to ensure that they are covered by the exemption to disclose under the ASX Listing rules to not have to disclose if the dealing meets the test. Normally the fact of negotiating is confidential and disclosing that to agitate the market interest might affect maintaining confidentiality.
