The Pessimism in the Biotechnology sector is so profound at the moment, much of this is based on quickly fading Shareprices and lack of investors in the sector.
It is becoming more and more difficult to remain optimistic despite there not being any news that would suggest shareholders should be concerned.
We have to acknowledge that lack of data being presented creates a void that is easily filled by this Pessimism, and while the consolidation has been generally accepted, the other side of this is the smaller holders getting out as they do not wish to invest further funds.
I consider myself to be an optimist in most things in life and yet this last month has truly tested my optimism, not that I don't believe that Imugene are doing everything they can to ensure success, it's just the continued erosion of my investment.
We know that if a deal was in the making it would take a great deal of time to complete, we also know that trials are progressing at a slower pace due to selection of trial participants and efficient use of funds, all this information not forthcoming just adds to the anxiety many shareholders would be feeling.
Wishing all shareholders that are feeling this very real concern all the best and let's hope that news will break soon that will at least stem the tide.
