European markets were all in the red overnight.
The FTSE fell 47 points (.54%), the DAX fell 123 points (.51%) and the CAC fell 46 points (.58%).
US markets were mixed overnight. Bit of a rollercoaster ride - fell at the open and then recovered strongly into positive territory and the collapsed at the end of the trading day.
The DOW fell 1 point (.003%), the NBI fell 12 points (.30%), the NASDAQ Composite managed to end in front rising by 53 points (.28%) and the Russell smll cap index fell by 1 point (.063%).
Global concerns over the US fiscal health with debt to GDP expected to spiral due to Trump tax cut bill.
The bill was passed by the US House of Representatives with amendments to cut Medicaid and green energy credits - it still needs to pass through the Senate.“Marketvolatility has resurfaced amid renewed uncertainty surrounding trade policy andthe fiscal outlook. With bond yields elevated and tariff and budget risks infocus, this volatility may persist as investors monitor further developments inpolicy,” Mark Haefele, CIO at UBS Global Wealth Management, wrote in a noteseen by Fortune this morning.
