Hard to tell whether a potential partener / buyer would try to put some downwards pressure on. If an asset is great for a bigger pharma, then they won't muck around, they would pay a fair price as other pharma would start bidding as well. If a smaller player would be interested, then hardly games would be played as both would benefit.
