Thanks for letting me be " Don Draper ". I loved that show as I worked in the industry, radio advertising in the 90s. But we had neither the luxury of having our own office, nor a PA or the booze. During the first 2 years I was involved in all the parts, selling, writing, voice over, producing. 14-16 hours day and on weekends on site promotions. But paid off handsomely and the company is still one of Europe's most profitable radio stations based on number per listeners. Sold wine before that and learnt from all mistakes in the book made. And that made me questioning Hopper's attitude: When you got a gem to sell you don't accept dirt for it. You fight for the quality you have to offer. Everyone can sell cheap, but it won't get the business very far this way. Once someone is renowned for being easy to be pressured it is hard to change that. And that is what happened to CHM and IMU.
