Global markets took a breather overnight as they digested the fragile peace in the Middle East.
In Europe, the FTSE fell 40 points (.46%), the DAX fell 143 points (.61%) and the CAC fell 57 points (.76%).
Data showed that Australia's inflation fell to 2.4% in May - down from 2.8% in April.
In the US, the DOW fell 106 points (.25%), the NBI fell 28 points (.67%), the NASDAQ Composite rose 61 points (.31%) and the Russell small cap index fell 25 points (1.16%).
US markets were insulated on hopes of an interest rate cut in July.
Jerome Powell testified at a Senate hearing that effects of tariffs on inflation are still unknown.
US Treasury 10 year bond yield is at 4.288%
Oil prices rebounded after yesterday's big drop - Brent crude is at US$66.64 per barrel.
Gold price rose to US$3,331 per oz.
BITCOIN rose to US$107,672.
