The reason why I don't think it's an option is because it takes a large amount of infrastructure, staff and money to run production labs. To my knowledge they don't own or license any of the elements for production so they are strictly research at the moment.
While it could be done with CSL, would it be the absolute best possible option for global reach? Even with Fed funding I just don't see it is all I'm saying.
