Just to be clear, in case anyone is still confused, Mason is talking about HerVaxx Progression Free Survival (PFS) interim results and these are (and can easily well be) very different to the Overall Survival (OS) results.

Mason is right, the interpretation of the p-value = 0.226, statistically speaking, suggests there is no difference between the SOC and the HerVaxx treatment arms for PFS.

An aside .. For those who do not know much about p-values, in this particular instance, you can interpret the p-value as the probability that the two treatment arms have the same result. A p-value < 0.05 suggest indicates there is only 5% or less chance of the treatment arms being the same. This a statistical p-value threshold that hs been used since the dawn of statistics and is effectively stating that you are happy with the possibility of a 5% chance of getting it wrong. A p-value of 0.226 is effectively saying there is 22.6% chance that the treatment arms are the same and, yes, this is not a statistically significant p-value.

Ok, so my thoughts, without actually seeing the data are CALM DOWN .. This is the PFS results and the OS results are most likely going to be quite different. I want everyone to read the second paragraph of

There is no need to debate the PFS results without having the full picture ie the OS results as well. Patience dear IMU holders.
