Though like many long term holders on this thread I am happy to say despite my trading losses, I am still over 100 percent in the black on our core holding, having purchased from close to the bottom, moreso than at the top.

Despite there being a large number of IMU shares on offer, one or two big trading days can see the share price move in double digit percentages. The fact remains, considerable price shifts and volatility are synonymous with the stock we know to be IMU. In 2022 swings down to 20 cents are sure to be met with movements back up to 60 cents, and so on, as the year unfolds. As the shorters run out of breath and Imugene’s trial news starts to flow through, the upside is going to be just as swift as last years move from 5 north to 50 cents was. Institutions have recently tightened the spring tighter and tighter in the wake of a global correction. Though keep in mind just as Jack Mann and his family entities blew many shorters out of the water in 2020, it’s only going to take one or two large players to catch onto Imugene’s scent this year, to send large institutions into a buying frenzy. The phenonomeon commonly referred to these days as FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out), is sure to set in. For when you’re on the short side, you need to act fast. Like sands through the hour glass, time runs out for those who bet against the odds. And the odds are pretty good that one, if not the majority of Imugene’s current and gazetted trials are soon to bear fruit.

So which side of the coin are you on? I’m of the opinion Imugene (IMU) is a tightly coiled spring about to pop. Those who have held on and held on amidst extreme institutional pressure, have in the majority left the room. Those wishing to take some money off the table, or collect some capital gains to offset against their other losses, have in the whole surely departed. It’s just a question of news now. And not if there is news coming from Imugene, but when. When it comes to the company’s wonder drug, CF33, at low doses the initial report card looks good, with patients lining up for their second dose of Yuman Fongs medicine. With his potent oncolytic virus promising to eradicate the majority of cancer cell lines, as it did pre clinically, a bidding war for its wares is sure to erupt later this year. Big Pharma is slumbering, but sooner or later shall awake to the fact CF33 may indeed be the panacea for many of their ills. A form of treatment that attacks only cancer cells. A form of treatment from which cancer cells are not only targeted, but blown up and destroyed. A drug monitored closely by Imugene's erstwhile staff, who have the ability to visualise and track virus movements thoughout their patients bodies.

Are you nervous? Of course you are. Stocks can go either way. Anyone with skin still in the game is on edge from time to time. Though the overwhelming sentiment from those having researched, followed and purchased the stock would suggest sunshine is just around the corner. Analysts have price targets of up to 71 cents on the stock. Whether it’s Her VAXX, PD1 VAXX, or CF33 that lines up first for a commercial deal, the potential monetary gains on hand are immense. In combination with other Big Pharmja drugs, or as a stand alone treatment, Imugene are sure to win favour from who appreciate the low toxicity, safety and competitive prices attributable to their products. Luckily I still have millions of reasons to smile at the creativeness and tenacity of Imugenes innovators, Weidermann, Fong, Kaumaya and Price, just to name a few. The past twenty four months have given me, my family and many long term holders the opportunity to participate in life changing cancer research. Research that is already enhancing the lives of those being treated in existing Imugene (IMU) clinical trials. For it’s not just about rats, mice, test tubes and petri dishes any more for Imugene. It’s a matter of life and death for their initial patients. A shot at the title for those on deaths door as it were. Those who have failed on other cancer treatment programs.

Watch out when Her Vaxx OSR results come to hand. Or when CF33 reports efficacy results in either Q3 or 4 of this year. Or when PD1 Vaxx patients are first dosed in combination with Roche’s Tercetriq. Given the strength of the small non lung cell cancer market and the large number of individuals succumbing to the illness worldwide, any hint of a success in that trial shall undoubtedly render the combination drug a smash hit. Who buys it? Well probably Roche themselves. Just as Merck, Merck Germany and Pfizer have first dibs on the Neo Herizon drugs at the centre of their combination trials with Imugene. I know it’s frustrating having to sit through further Phase 2 clinical trials with Her Vaxx, when we have just spent years rounding out the first Phase 2 trial for the drug. But given the new Phase 2 trials are on earlier stage patients than the original Her VAXX Phase 2 trial, I am confident we shall see results as early as Q4 2022. We then have three bites at the Her VAXX cherry, as opposed to one. And with combination drugs the ilk of Merck’s Keytruda on board, it’s beginning to look more like a cherry tree, as opposed to the initial cherry.

It’s clearly all speculation. And rises being met with falls, before rising again. Faith in management, an understanding there is cash in the bank, and the knowledge large investors are on board all smooth out the journey for those of us in for the long haul. For long term holders I suppose May and June are all about waiting to see what’s around the corner for IMU. Is it Her VAXX, PD1-PDL1, Vaxinia or Oncarlytics that’s about to make the next move? Or perhaps CF33? I guess time will tell.
Either way spare a thought for those in Ukraine this weekend. All many of us have to worry about is the ASX falling out of bed on Monday. Many Ukranians don’t even have a bed, let alone the prospect of a brighter 2022.
