Exactly, the IDMC had to do it for the patients, it was clearly showing fantastic efficacy when compared to SOC treatment alone it would have been unethical not to reduce the overall number of patients required.
From a purely business perspective, the reduction in the scale of trial was a benefit for IMU financially as well.

HER-VAXX is certainly extending the lives of those patients with such grim chances of survival, and I recall the interview with ASX Investor and Leslie, where she mentions the patients walking around "a year, a year and a half, and some maybe two years later"... This was aired 12th Jan 2022, so we're a good 6 months down the track now. We can only hope they're still living and cherishing time spent with their loved ones.
