Agree, sepsis is the sydrome caused a massive immune response to bacteria (or other pathogens) in the blood.

Imugene definitely not in the space of immune moderating therapies. We're into immune system boosting/training. Vaccines.

Recce is developing totally new class of antibiotics. One of the main indications is sepsis (more specifically, the bacteraemia to which sepsis occurs in response).

Noxopharm is another ASX listed company of interest. Most of their current clinical trials are cancer therapy enhancements. But they are also looking at immune system moderation for conditions such as sepsis. It's possible that Recce and Noxopharm therapaies would be used in combination one day, if both prove successful.

Back to Imugene, I wonder if there is the possibility that our therapies could one day be used as preventative or prophylactic medicines. Either in the general population, or in at-risk groups (age, genetic predispositions, risk factors).
