I agree with everything you say except for the consolidation bit. Why the need to consolidate, I ask. At end of day, it is the market cap that matters, not share price. And forget US investors or what have you. It is the BP investors that matters for IMU in the end. And BP only look at market cap and decide, would they accept our US$50bn offer or not?
