Today's nic move in the SP could well be a bit of FOMO if people believe something will be released at the AGM.
I personally don't believe that will actually happen. I would want to see how the SP behaves over a few trading sessions before I would determine any settling point for the SP.
Shorters may just be taking a "watch and see" position for the same reason.
