Imugene, I think we can all agree is showing some promise on the pre-clinical and early clinical data they have presented at conferences following peer review.
Currently they have definitely talked up Acer-cel and their onCARlytics trials, again based on pre-clinical and clinical in the case of ocCARlytics, following MAST trial data at the mid point dose, and the Ph1 trial carried out by Precision Biosciences before Imugene's purchase of the license along with use of the manufacturing facility.
I agree with many other posters that we are coming to the pointy end when it comes to proof of concept with both Acer-cel and CF33 with hNIS and CD19 additions.
My thoughts are that it is around a 60%/40% risk based on things like competition, financials, loss of key personnel and potential for data to not meet pre-clinical results and on the benefit side, ODI and Fast Track designations being approved.
This to me is better than gambling in many forms, with statistics showing less than 13.5% of gamblers walking away from casinos as winners and a staggering estimated $25 Billion a year lost in gambling in Australia each year.
And might I add hardly any small percentage of that returned to the benefit of the community.
Each day/week and month that passes by improves these odds as the potential for partnering or licensing out of these treatments and further peer reviewd data (hopefully with excellent results), presented at more prestigious conferences we could be presented with odds much higher than I presented as my opinion.
Who can say with any certainty what will happen in the future of this wonderful company, all we can say with any confidence is that we are in the race, regardless of where we are in the field, and this we know as fact, allows us to be considered a chance of winning or making a place finish.

I went to the casino new years before last, and walked out with zero. First time I had been and most probably my last; even though I had a great time it was really my cuppa tea.

In terms of Imugene, I'm at that point of "hope for the best, but prepare for the worst". If the worst does happen, I can walk away at 39 years old and still build a safe portfolio with blue chip stocks.

However, if this goes the way we're all hoping, life is going to be very good; not only for us as investors, but for those suffering from cancer.

The next 6-24 months are going to be very interesting, fingers crossed.
