Global markets were all in positive territory overnight.
In Europe, the FTSE rose 20 points (.26%), the DAX rose 276 points (1.55%) and the CAC rose 65 points (.81%).
BoE comments hosed down the prospect of early interest rate cuts and this limited the rise in the FTSE.
In the US, the DOW rose 263 points (.69%), the NBI rose 52 points (1.29%), the NASDAQ Composite rose 245 points (1.59%) and the Russell small cap index rose 34 points (1.77%).
Good to see the NBI stringing together some good gains over the last few trading sessions. Hopefully, US gains will flow through to the ASX today and maybe prop up IMU's SP.
US earning season is now kicking off in earnest with some good gains (except TESLA).
US Treasury 10 year bond yield is down marginally to 4.6%.
Oil prices are up - Brent crude at US$88 per barrel.
Gold price has slipped - US$2,323 per oz.
BITCOIN fairly stable at US$66,345.
