They would mainly issue stock to them. Some cash but mainly shares. For the target shareholders it's a better option to swap shares is a $100m company for shares in a $2bn company. more liquidity abd less risk and from a trials perspective better access for trials, more experienced mgr team etc. There would be some good synergies/savings from merging given they both do the same thing.
