The biotech industry has fallen sharply - but, there is context of sorts.

Markets in general, have fallen across the board - maybe IO is not being hit as hard. We have had COVID, Putin's insane invasion of the Ukraine, Supply issues and the rise of panic with inflation. Not exactly the ideal situation for any risk weighted investments. Crypto, for example, is down 80% or so by way of comparison.

We are starting to see some glimmer of hope in the Biotech sectors so Biotech, in general, is not a terminal patient (definitely no pun intended).

The search for advanced treatment - or cures - for diseases won't stop because of real or imagined international fears. The goals are still there and organisations and companies will still chase them.

In the end, any biotech needs to be taken in perspective of where it is along the path to success and in isolation to world pressures. That should determine the value of that organisation or company - if the fundamentals remain the same and the chances of success remain the same, then the SP (regardless of how annoying or illogical) loses relevance.
