My thanks to those of you who responded to my post. It was ICANS that caused the seizure from which she completely recovered. However, the return of the Lymphoma a few months after the treatment caused the spleen to rupture, resulting in her death.
The point of my posting was to try to show that Autologous CAR-T is not perfect (I am not sure of the success rate) and it is incredibly expensive (six figures in $AUD). However, it was either take the chance with that or go into palliative care.
I would be very surprised if Imugene does not become a household name within the next few years, unless it is bought out.
