Relax everyone, after being dragged against my will into the conversation by @diddycat i have applied my giant intellect to the issue and figured out his motivation ...
He is in fact a friend of IMU and all holders and merely ensuring that IMU stays in the 'top 5' on the HC homepage (we've been there a lot and in no small part due to Diddy's public service).
A very subtle form of 'churning' but what the hell, keep it up Diddy and let's all support his effort by responding bigly to his posts and randomly upvoting everything around them.
